YAML Butler does not store prompts, entity lists, generated YAML, or raw IP addresses in its application database. Do not submit passwords, tokens, addresses, or other sensitive information.

Requests and AI processing

Your prompt and optional entity IDs are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to produce an automation. Cloudflare hosts this application and processes requests under its own terms and policies. Hosting infrastructure may process network information and operational logs. We do not add third-party analytics, tracking pixels, fonts, or scripts.

Rate limiting and 48-hour retention

To enforce limits, we hash your IP address with an optional server salt and the UTC date using SHA-256. We store that daily hash, date, and counters in Cloudflare D1. We never store the raw IP in D1. Usage rows are eligible for removal within 48 hours and are purged opportunistically when an API request is made; on an idle site deletion waits for the next request. Daily hashes change each UTC day. Hashing reduces exposure but should not be treated as guaranteed anonymity.

License keys

If you enter a license, it is sent securely to this application and to Gumroad for verification when needed. We cache a SHA-256 license-key hash and verification timestamp for up to 24 hours. Expired cache entries are removed during later API requests. Pro usage is counted against the license hash. A verified license key is saved in localStorage in your browser so it can be included with later generation requests. Use “Forget key” to remove it from that browser. Clearing site data also removes it.
